Family home from home

We have just returned from a 3 night stay for a family wedding in Rock. We felt so at home and wished our trip had been a longer one. Wendy and her husband went to great lengths to make sure our stay was a smooth one, and their communication prior to our stay was fantastic. We have two very young children and apart from us taking a stair gate with us, the property was perfect for them. The garden is small and enclosed, allowing them to explore outside as well.

We hope to return someday.

Hollyhocks is a great base to explore Cornwall

The well kept property of Hollyhocks easily accommodates 7 and offers a comfortable sitting room, well equipped kitchen and garden which includes a shed filled with beach gear! It is in easy walking distance of the bakery and shop, and the family friendly Pityme pub is minutes away. The beaches attached to Rock are lovely and the ferry to Padstow a must. Overall, we spent a lovely week here and enjoyed every minute. Thankyou.

Fabulous cottage in a beautiful part of Cornwall

We had such an enjoyable, relaxing stay here at Hollyhocks cottage. There is so much to see and do here in Rock. So many wonderful beaches to explore, perfect for the dogs to run around and meat new friends. We loved getting the Rock ferry across to Padstow, where we had so much choice of great restaurants and cafes with the best food. Hollyhocks is a lovely cottage, so clean, very spacious and cosy at the same time. It had everything we needed and good WIFI. The garden is fully secure, also good for the dogs. Wendy the owner was excellent and so helpful when we needed to contact her for anything. If i could give 6 stars I would. Thanks Wendy for a lovely stay. Cant wait to come back. John.

Family get together

This was a lovely cottage. Really clean, well equipped, warm and welcoming. Lots of really thoughtful little extras that made it feel like a ‘home from home’. Plenty of space for our family to join us. Comfy beds and pillows and very well presented. We will definitely stay again.

Really lovely property

As title. really lovely stay and would visit again. Location good, local shops, easy to get to Padstow by ferry and good food at the Pityme Inn. Wendy was easy to communicate with and everything went like clockwork, I would definitely recommend.

Very nicely furnished cottage with parking.

Loved the decor - the bathrooms sparkled. Bed linen was lovely - comfy beds and a lovely sunny garden. We were very relaxed after our stay.

Ideal for us

The property was well found , comfortable and well equipped. We were delighted to find bicycles, wet suits and surf boards in the shed. A barbecue would be good as well! The geography being so close to Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay is perfect. We had a wonderful week.

Great cottage in Rock

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. It was perfect for my family of 4 and generously kitted out with everything you need around the house. Wendy the host was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. We would recommend this property!

Lovely well equipped cottage

What a lovely week we had at Hollyhocks. The cottage was well equipped which made for an easy & comfortable stay - exactly what we needed to recharge the batteries. It was a great place to explore Cornwall from & we hope to return again in the future.
